Essay

Today we talk about global business and organization perspective is not limited to a local region.

Various factors are instrumental in the success of an organization. Some says that the bigger the organization, the longer it takes for a little job to be done. However, I strongly disagree to that statement. There are a few aspects that play a major role in determining the success of an organization such as technological advantage, good management and teamwork. Among these factors, team work in an organization is the ultimate key to the success of an organization.

Teamwork in an organization is the out most key function to its smooth execution of daily tasks. In most large organization processes are clearly defined, roles and responsibilities are perfectly organized, a clear and common goal is though of, but for the all above activities mentioned to be carried out successfully, teamwork will have to be achieved first. In large organization, individuals play certain roles and carry out certain responsibilities, their role in the organization is ultimate to achieve success and by that they will require the spirit of teamwork. Consider a huge manufacturing plant, it has an organizational chain where people are devided into teams and each team is assigned to a particular task to accomplish, and each team is interdependent on one another. For a successful outcome of the whole product, there cannot be any mistake from any team.

Now a days, in any large organization that we see in the market, their staff are organized into different teams such as marketing, finance, organizations, human resources just to name a few. Teams enable easier maintenance of large organizations, with the establishment of teams it is easily possible to have a chain-of-command within the organization as a whole to the individual teams. This is crucial for any organization no matter if you are the manager of KK Mart or the CEO of Tesco. Another example, the school magazine. Within that team, you will have the teams such as teacher advisors, editors, highlights, graphics, photography, adbertisements and profiles. It s the work as a whole group that in the end, a worthy magazine is able to be sent for publication.Having different teams performing different tasks ensures that information does not get remain with a few individuals. Large organizations are not interdependent on just the few individuals but enable the organizations to remove the dependency on a particular person.

There is this famous saying that “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”. The individuals in an organization can be referred as a stick while a team can be compared to a bundle of sticks. As the old proverb goes "It is difficult to break a bundle of stick than to break a single stick". Teamwork within the organizations determine the success of the organization, they give a company of technical knowledge, communication, organization skills, business experience and so on in its daily activities. In the global age, organization are large and spread out across continents, it is the team that is moved by its team spirit that enables organizations to compete with one another on an international level.

Thus, teams can be considered as the key for an organization. Most successful organizations have admitted that their success is due to the success of their teams who have worked well together, and not the work of individuals. For any organization, teamwork is the ultimate key to its success
