Disappointment.....

Just went to "Sokong Cikgu Hajah Siti Mangsa Politik" page on facebook..... After spending some 15min reading some of the comment and discussion board, there was a sense of disappointment and sadness. We keep on calling ourself educated people. But how educated are we really. Is it enough to achieve Wawasan 2020?

Maybe this is the reason why we are still not performing economically as well as our neighboring countries.. Some comments were still intended to cause more outrage among readers. Even I felt insulted but not from the words said by Cikgu Hajah but the immature users. Sadly only a handful of users are able to maintain a calm manner when posting but most of which lost themselves and the maturity when posting.

I believe in people making mistakes, big one and small ones. Yet some mistakes reaches to the public and some don't. Unfortunately for Cikgu Hajah, it went out all the way to the mainstream media. Whether Cikgu Hajah really did made such comments, its really up to God to decide and those involved directly. Who are we who are miles away for the scene to make stories of our own.

Everybody makes mistakes and therefore should be forgiven. Such forgiveness may not be immediate but none the lest at lease in time.

Since the launch of 1Malaysia, till now i haven't really see an incident nor anything that truly stuck me with a sense of being a true Malaysian nor 1Malaysian.... That may sound sad enough, but what makes things worst is sometime i wounder who are we or where do we really belong. Of course this is purely based on self opinion and not looking for any debate in it.

However, I was glad that even some Malay stood up when some of their 'brother' went into a head to head clash with other users, in a polite and easily understood manner. To be clear, I am happy not because they stood up for the other races, but i am glad and happy that there are still some of them who see that we are able to live with one another in harmony in the future.

It was a bit distressful when going thorough some of the comments, it is clear that although Sejarah was made a compulsory subject in school. Funny as it may sound, it doesn't look like it made any impact or any what so ever due to the lack of understanding of what's true and what's not, basically facts. Worst of all, some whom didn't have the right information or facts came lasing out at other people only to make a fool of himself or herself.

Leaving that as it is, I am signing off and back to what I was doing, tv! xP
